Best new ski & snowboard goggles

With a new snow season fast approaching, Snowville.ca went in search of the best goggles to ride with in 2013. With models from Anon, Smith, Spy, and Oakley, there is sure to be something for everyone…feast your eyes on these beauts.

Manufacturer: Anon

Style: Vintage: 70’s retro style, future level performance (Pictured: Frame= Chi; Lens= Silver Amber)

Price: $89.95 USD

Why they’re groovy:

Anon’s colour bomb approach helps fashion focused boarders get goggles to off-set the rest of their gear. The great thing about Anon is they offer a wide range of tints that cover the entire VLT (Visible Light Transmission) spectrum from whiteout to bluebird conditions and they’ve got a handy tool to try it out called the “lens visualizer.”

We dig the old school throwback look of the “Vintage” with all of the modern bells and whistles including full perimeter channel venting, duel lens construction, triple layer face foam, helmet compatibility and solar shield hard coating technology.

Manufacturer: Spy+

Style: Solider (Pictured: Bright Idea with Persimmon Lens)

Price: $104.95 USD

Why they’re groovy:

Spy+ wearers rave about their comfort, but they also have some pretty great patters for those who are looking for adventure in their goggle choice. Although they don’t offer as many lens options as Anon or Smith they have the Carl Zeiss Vision promise and have a Patented Scoop® ventilation system to combat lens fogging. That lens is protected by an anti-scratch coating and boasts 100% UV protection. As with the other goggles we are recommending they will keep you try with a triple layer of Isotron™ face foam featuring moisture-wicking Dri-Force™ fleece.

This all adds up to a really functional and fashionable set of goggles.
